On Saturday, Nov. 11 during practice, Wyle-E and I will be going over general rules, penalties and hand signals for parents.
This will take place from 8-8:45. Please bring your penalty questions and we'll do our best to answer them.

From 8:45-9:45, some of my trained NSOs will be on hand to help parents try their hand at box timing and line up tracking. If we have enough people, we may throw score keeping in there too. It takes upwards of 18 people to successfully run games and scrimmages, so we thank you in advance for stepping in and helping out.

If you want a head start on learning, please check out the standard practices, officiating hand signals and verbals cues on the WFTDA officiating site: https://wftda.org/officiating

The current rule set can be found at: https://rules.wftda.com/

If you ever have any questions, want to get more involved in officiating, or are considering putting on skates to learn to ref, please be sure to track me down at practice, on the forum or on Facebook.

See you Saturday!

Since we didn't have many parents on Saturday, we did not go over penalties. We will look at doing general rules and penalty discussion soon!

A big thank you to our 4 parents that helped out at the scrimmage (jam timing, box timing and score keeping, oh my!). Hopefully you had a good experience and would be interested in trying again. Officiating (even if it is just scrimmages) is a great way to support your skater and the league.

As always, if you have questions about officiating or rules, please be sure to track me down here, on Facebook or at practice. I'm happy to help.
